Fill up magically, coffee cup.

i still have the f'n buffy songs in my head and have learned that miss e. smith gets one in particular in her head every time she has a new idea. can you imagine the torture? i'm well on my way there. proceed with caution.

protest yesterday a success.
st. p's day fun.
baby cousin = cute.

today i should do some workey work and then will see amie & sarah and discuss invitation wording. watched thelma & louise (OK, only 1st chunk then fell asleep) again last night and it's so brilliant -- louise's "you get what you settle for." missed the ballad of lucy jordan. feck. watched dark water before that and there were some watchable bits but so crrrap esp. the last, well, hour.

did give up on that vampire book. also crrrap. don't have a book on the go right now. reading an MS that's uber good. it's daccia's. wouldn't it be cool if... Just got another to read as well. saul's friend stephen. steven? i dunno. so maybe i'll take a published book break and read maybe will be published books. until our next book club selection which i think should be made by non-member chris h. ?

time for more coffee and some breakfast. antonio's making some giant weird beef something or other and it's giving me a bit of fear to enter the kitchen for some cereal. and the whole house smells. yikes-o-rama.

absence

saturday morning. coffee, pineapple, bit of crossword, name the u.s. states w/ s'rain. wonder what to do today. lovely outside but have indoor work to do. will i see my visiting frere today? prolly. hate saying i'll do something and then missing it like i did w/ the show last night. apologies.

finished alligator which my blog tells me i started in f'n january. yikes. i love-love-loved it. recommend it to all and to all a good night. started reading my YA vampire novel -- twilight -- and it's so simple. and she drops the most basic foreshadowing and hints to themes. apples and eve.
don't know if i'll get thru it.

listening to the mighty q. don't think i can watch the buffy musical for quite some time. til tash gets to it. my brain gets filled w/ the fun-but-enough-thanks songs and then i go batty-looney-kookoo-badookoo.

how bout a foto?

on our stoop on bourbon street. s'rain has a hand grenade -- a giant green drink that is delish and full of secret ingredients. like alcohol and sugar.
